The Morning Light is Breaking

The morning light is breaking, our coldness disappears Our hearts today are waking, to penitential tears.  Each breeze that sweeps the ocean, brings tidings from afar, Of nations in commotion, prepared for Zion’s war.

2.

Those heathen nations bending, don't know that God is love. Our hearts should be ascending, in prayer to him above.  Oh, Christians now confessing, the gospel call obey, Go take them Christ our blessing, go seek the lost today.

3.

Blest river of salvation, pursue thine onward way, Flow thou to every nation, nor in thy swiftness stay. Stay not 'tll all the lowly, have heard the Lord did come, Stay not 'til all the holy, see souls to Jesus won.
