Heralds of Christ

Heralds of Christ, who bear the King's commands, Immortal tidings in your mortal hands, Pass on, and carry, swift the news ye bring, Make straight, make straight, the high-way of the King.

Through desert ways, the seas, and mountain pass, Through jungles dark, Oh let it go and fast, Where once the twisting trails in

darkness wound, Let marching feet and joyful song resound.

Lord give us faith and strength the road to build, To see the promise of the day fulfilled.  We'll build the road, and falter not, nor sway. Make straight around the earth, the King's highway.
