ALWAYS REMEMBER:

2 Timothy 2:14: “Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, BUT TO THE SUBVERTING OF THE HEARERS.”

2 Timothy 2:23: “But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.”

1 Corinthians 14:12,26: “Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, SEEK THAT YE MAY EXCEL TO THE EDIFYING OF THE CHURCH. How is it then, brethren? When ye come together, everyone of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. LET ALL THINGS BE DONE UNTO EDIFYING.”

VERSES FOR SOUL WINNING

Memorize word for word. Know where they are in your Bible.

It sometimes helps to write or type the verse word for word on a three by five card and memorize by repetition.

The following are verses that have been used over the years by many witnessing for the Lord and many have found Christ. As you memorize these verses think how to use them to convince a lost person that they are a sinner and need a savior. Christ is the only savior.
Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9 13

I had a pastor friend that would go into a house and ask them if they had a Bible. If they said that they did he would tell them to get it and lead them to read John 3:16. He loved to lead them to the Lord from their own Bible. He simply kept explaining that one verse until it became clear.
John 3:16
Romans 3:23, 6:23
John 1:12
Revelation 3:20

HELPFUL VERSES FOR THE LOST
Here are a few verses that answer a lot of objections that are raised. As you memorize them, study them so that you can use them to help them see the truth.
Ezekiel 33:11
Isaiah 55:7
2 Peter 3:9
John 6:37 (Answers almost every excuse)

HELPFUL VERSES FOR THE SOUL WINNER REMEMBER: These are for you. Matthew 16:26

1 Timothy
2 Timothy
Titus
The following method of studying Bible chapters I got from a book by R. A. Torrey. I have made several adaptations over the years. I have used it myself and have taught it to many. If you will honestly seek to answer these questions from the chapter you are studying, you will learn much from the Bible.

The best way to answer is turn the question into a complete sentence. Write out all your answers.

STUDY THE BIBLE AS THE WORD OF GOD

The Bible is the mind of God revealed. Let us have prompt and unquestioning acceptance of and submission to its teachings when definitely ascertained; even when these teachings appear to be unreasonable or impossible. Let us have absolute reliance upon all its length, breadth, depth and height. Let us have obedience C prompt, exact, joyous, and unquestioning obedience to every command.
